Scary Halloween Pumpkins

This is one of the extreme carved pumpkins by Villafane Studios.

BOO!
Judging by the super storm Sandy, there may not be much Halloween on the east coast or the midwest.

Busted!

Yesterday afternoon I watched the Lakewood Police pull this guy over, search his car and then tow it away.
He retrieved his folding portable chair, his makeshift suitcase stand with drink and a cell phone until a taxi came.
I wonder what he did....

Mackerel Sky

An interesting cloud formation known as a "mackerel sky" appeared early Thursday morning.
It quickly disappeared with the high winds.

Waiting For His Turn

Little sparrow waits patiently for his turn to eat.
Sparrows may be quite common but they do have unique feather patterns.

Custom Covered Segways

Now you can order a custom Segway with all types of canopies and body styles!

Truth be known, I've duplicated how the "Ghost Tire" was created by Google Maps. Some of the latest smart phones and digital cameras have the ability to take panoramic photos. As you pan the camera, it stitches together a series of exposures into one wide photo. however, if there is a moving object in the shot it gets trimmed as it did above. The camera "stitched" the front and the back of the automobile because it moved in and out of the shot!

Below is the entire panoramic photo with a 180 degree view:

Space Aliens

NM Bill was lucky to capture the shadows of two ominous beings from outer space and then safely get away.
After all, he's not far from Roswell!
The claw-like appendage on the one on the left looks like it could snap your head off!

Nah,
It's just Bills dirt bike on a mountain trail:
