Hawk Takes A Bath
Last Friday's hawk returned to my feed station and after looking around, took a bath!
While he bathed, a pesky Bluejay kept dive-bombing him trying to chase him away.
But when he finished his bath, he went after the jay and chased him far away.

This handsome hawk is sitting in my bird feeder apparently waiting for some unsuspecting prey.
I've never seen one get this close. Usually they're up in a nearby tree.
But, lucky for my little regulars, no one ended up being first course.
