These birds appeared like locusts last week when the first warm day
cleared the lawns of snow.
What you don't see is next door and across the street another hundred or so Starlings
pecking away at the lawns!
And just as fast as they arrived, they were gone!
A couple days later, I saw them again in another part of town.

Same way in Dallas TX. They even have people with pistols with blanks in them to scare the birds away.
