Cooper's Hawk

I was surprised to see this hawk just sitting in the pines just above my bird feeder.

He stayed almost an hour and only looked around occasionally

and then preened himself and took off without bothering any of the other birds.

Snow Bunny Illusion

This "giant" snow bunny, with its tail falling off, was sculpted

by NM Bill's lovely wife.

It appears to be about 5-feet tall in a parking lot!

However, it is on top of a concrete picnic table and is only 6-inches high.
