What started out as a crystal clear sky Monday morning,

ended up with mammoth cumulus clouds as the temperature

climbed into the 80's.

This wispy cloud captured by Ms. V, NM Bill's lovely wife.

She sees an angel, Bill says he sees a horse.

Either way, a striking formation.

I see a gnome looking over its shoulder as it tries to get away from a predator.

Mackerel Sky

An interesting cloud formation known as a "mackerel sky" appeared early Thursday morning.

It quickly disappeared with the high winds.
