FYI
The Egyptians saw the eclipse as the swallowing the moon for a short time by a mythical sow. Other cultures view the eclipse as the moon being swallowed by other animals, like a jaguar in Mayan folklore tradition or a three legged toad in the mythology of the Chinese. Some tribes thought it was a demon swallowing the moon, and that they could chase it away by throwing stones and curses at it.

I got a free 12-pack of beer at a small corner market by convincing the clerk that I was responsible for the eclipse. This is not a trick that works all the time. First, you need a cashier who climbed down out of the trees in the past week, then you need an eclipse -- solar for daytime and lunar at night.....

Can we be really sure this isn't just a Russian flag that's been Photoshopped?
