Skywatch San Francisco

This dramatic sunset was captured by my first love and still good friend, Jane.
Where she is standing to take the photo is where I met her in 1967 in front of her flat.
It is California Street looking west from Cow Hollow (Polk Street) and up to Pacific Heights.
It brings back memories of my 26 years in San Francisco from 1973 to 1999.
For more photos of the sky visit here.

Beautiful shot Jane!

Brings out the San Francisco that people don't know about.

I recently went back to San Francisco and went to the spot where we met, Gianni. There was a sign that read, "DO NOT TALK TO STRANGERS". Sorry, no pic.

Great sky, but love the personal history behind the photo!

Spare Parts,

If you're still looking, thanks for the comment. Jane is a beautiful Chinese girl that, as they say, I fell in love with at first sight.

And to Anonymous, I thought The sign said, "Don't Even Think About Parking Here!"

Only San Franciscans understand that one.
