I THINK NOT!
There's a small decal on the tube, a squirrel in a circle with a line through it.
Obviously, this squirrel can't read.
I put axle grease on the hangers thinking that he'd slip off before getting to the feeder.
But instead, I had to wipe his greasy paw prints off the feeder.
Judging from the time he spent hanging upside down, I'd say he was enjoying a good meal.
Well it's back to the drawing board...
A squirrel proof reader? Whoa! I had no idea squirrels could read.

I feel like Wiley Coyote. I'll have to buy an Acme feeder!
ReplyDeletesend your squirrels over here - i don't mind feeding them - in fact, even buy special food (ear corn) for them!
ReplyDeleteI'll print them little maps and give them tiny suitcases.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind feeding them. Like I told Mike, I put plenty of seeds on the ground - why do they have to go for the feeders too?
I saw ear corn at the feeder store. They also had cages to put the corn in. Where do you put your corn?
